Meet Connor Devries
Connor DeVries grew up in St. Maries, then moved to Moscow in 2011 to attend the University of Idaho, working in local journalism and real estate while earning his degree. After college, he continued to work as a journalist, then transitioned to a career in freelance insurance adjusting and private investigation in central Washington.
Connor joined Northwest Pinnacle Group in 2024 for two reasons. The first was that he had developed an intense interest in the stock market and international currency markets. The second was that as an adjuster, he had seen firsthand the mediocre (and occasionally disastrous) results of the one-size-fits-all mentality common in the insurance and financial services industry, so he was thrilled to find a team that would allow him to take a more careful, nuanced approach to managing and protecting his clients’ finances.
Connor’s extracurricular activities have included, at various times, snowboarding, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, prison ministry, learning to speak Russian, and a stint as a reserve deputy, but his favorite has always been music, and you can occasionally find him playing shows with friends at local pubs and coffee shops around North Idaho.
